TV AERIAL INSTALLATION

A reliable TV aerial is the foundation of good Freeview reception, and professional TV aerial installation ensures you get the best possible experience from day one. Many homes in Buxton and the surrounding areas experience poor signals due to the geography and weather conditions. This makes proper installation even more important. A good installer will have local knowledge, asses the incoming signals, select the best aerial type and best location for your aerial.

In poor signal areas we will test the signal with different types of aerial to determine which is best, fit mast head amplifiers at the aerial to boost the signal before the cable run (if required), and also have a choice of different cable qualities should the signal be very weak. Once we have a good signal we can feed this direct to your TV or to distribution amplifiers to supply as many TVs as required (usually located in the loft). Professional digital test equipment is used at each stage to ensure the integrity of the signal.

In strong signal areas loft mounted aerials can be used subject to onsite signal testing. If feasible loft mounted aerials are superior because they are protected from the weather. Once your aerial is installed we will tune your TV and set up the channels making sure everything is working correctly.

All work is carried out to the Confederation of Aerial Industries standards, and all work and materials are covered by a one year guarantee. Special consideration is always given to our more elderly customers – we will take time to explain how your TV system works and can give free advice over the phone should it be required.
